We stayed at The Hilton Edinburgh Carlton for 2 nights to celebrate my 60th birthday. On arrival the receptionist wished me a Happy Birthday and there was a card and chocolate treats left in our room for me from the Hotel. It was a fantastic experience from check in to check out. Staff so friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and very comfortable bed. The standard of cleanliness and sanitation was perfect. We had a lovely meal in the bar the first night. The hotel is conveniently positioned for walking to shops and sightseeing. Highly recommend.
I couldn't find fault with anything.
A brilliant place with a special view. I loved that the room was cheap. Such a very spacious bed and nice furniture. Lovely garden outside. Residential location, a 10-15 minute walking distance from a long - standing tower.
We liked it during our great stay. Excellent value hotel, really kind staff and incredible location. Within walking distance of the amazing beach. The bedroom was excellent. The service in general was excellent.
Free breakfast and terrific staff!!!
The time I spent there was enjoyable. Ordinary and well-stocked room, with a really comfy bed. The area was shopping, a cosy base for me. Admirable service. Hotel was very bright, I loved it.
We liked above average breakfasts and incredible views!
Fabulous central location, the staff was well-trained, also beds were nice. The beach was clean. It was within walking distance of the royal mile tavern, where you can have dinner. What's mote - there was excellent internet. Good value for the area.
Liked fantastic breakfast and super bed.
Property was upscale, we loved this place.
Obliging people working here, full cooked breakfast. Beautiful rooms with gorgeous views! Top notch service and reasonable value. Had no problem using their discounted parking, the internet was free. Booked it for 1 day and had a decent experience.
This is a wonderful and spotless property with first class staff and location.
The royal room was brilliant. Generally everything was well maintained, however the bathroom was too small. The venue had cheerfull staff who made the stay memorable.
Planned to see Edinburgh major attractions and it was fine base for visiting all of them. They serve breakfast for 13.75 GBP per person. It was worth its 4 stars...
Easy access to princes street gardens, easy walk to New Town, close to train station and rooms were spotless and large
A fantastic place, we loved its PRIME location. Lounge bar was exquisite!
Very close to Waverley station and easy walk to Old Town, very neat. Good value for money!
Very good breakfast. Great location, good restaurant.
Despite demand, we could not get a thinner pillow there was obviously only one option
Friendly staff, uncomplicated check-in, clean rooms. Breakfast should be booked for all days, was misunderstood at reception. The breakfast waiter did it without any problems. Extremely central location. That's as good as it gets.
No minibar in the room. But there is a 24/7 room service. On the second day there were 2 bottles of water in the room. The room view was only half dreamlike (Observatory Hill). The other half unfortunately took the air conditioning. Well, these things must be placed somewhere.
